In Store Shopping - Alternative Surf will gladly exchange any new, unused item in the original packaging for store credit to be used at any time without expiration. Refunds are not available at any time for any item. Defective or damaged merchandise will be handled by the product vendor and all decisions of that vendor or manufacturer are final.
Online Shopping - Alternative Surf will gladly exchange any new, unused item in the original packaging for store credit or immediate turnaround on a more suitable size/color product. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer; however Alternative Surf will absorb shipping costs to send new exchanged merchandise back to the customer in most situations. Outbound shipping will be sent in the most convenient inexpensive manner unless otherwise agreed to in advance. Bodyboards that have had a leash installed cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. Defective or damaged merchandise will be handled by the product vendor and all decisions of that vendor or manufacturer are final.
Damaged Items - Any article damaged by routine shipping will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Most manufacturers offer a 30-60 day period for "Quality of Workmanship". This covers defective items beyond the control of the customer or rider. Heat bubbles and creases full under the category of rider neglect or improper use and do not constitute a warranty situation.
